Just returned from a fabulous weekend with friends. The lodge was perfect and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. Everywhere was clean and tidy. The hot tub was perfect, the staff even came to top it up and make sure it was clean every morning. The staff went above and beyond, even helping us to find a taxi to get back whilst we were out and about.

Designed by Canadian architects with interior colours and textures that capture the natural beauty surrounding our lodges, The Canopy offers up to 8 of you a spacious shelter for reconnection and rest.

You’ll find the lodge at the eastern edge of our peaceful site, set quietly back behind trees on a gentle slope and overlooking two of our wildlife lakes.

Inside and Outside

On the ground floor there’s an open-plan living and dining room: this cheerfully bright and modern space has been professionally designed by our interior designer, Clair Brereton. She’s dressed it with plush velvet sofas, sheepskin throws, a media wall, beautiful artwork by Elizabeth MacDonald, an impressive crystal hanging chandelier and a stunning large parquet dining table with wishbone chairs for delicious brunches and evening meals.

The fully-equipped kitchen is a few steps away, fitted with all the high-end modern appliances you need to self-cater effortlessly for family or friends.

All 4 bedrooms (3 upstairs and 1 downstairs) have the same level of luxury as the rest of the log cabin: beautiful feature headboards crown the beds and each bed is made up with clean cotton sheets and thick duvets and pillows.

There are fresh towels to use in each of the 3 sparkling bathrooms, where you’ll also find large baths and hot showers.

Step outside onto the wrap-around deck with glass balustrade and it’s hard not to be impressed by the space and the uninterrupted views.
