Just returned from a fabulous weekend with friends. The lodge was perfect and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. Everywhere was clean and tidy. The hot tub was perfect, the staff even came to top it up and make sure it was clean every morning. The staff went above and beyond, even helping us to find a taxi to get back whilst we were out and about.

As if straight out of the Canadian wilderness, The Watch is our magnificent timber lodge made for up to 8 people to holiday together effortlessly.

Found a few steps away from the bank of one of our wildlife lakes, it offers you over 1,900 square feet of richly designed space, packed with luxurious touches to upgrade your time together.

Inside and Outside

The moment you step inside you’re struck by the incredible towering open-plan living area, fronted by a wall of windows. This is the vast centre of The Watch, which has been professionally designed by our interior designer, Clair Brereton. It features luxurious touches including bespoke local artwork, a cast iron and crystal pendant chandelier, a designer dining table, and plush velvet sofas. Here, you can plan your days, play games, cook and dine together and socialise with your feet up.

Along the short corridor sits the gorgeous master en-suite bedroom, packed with quality, modern comforts and a king-sized bed to ensure sweet dreams. There’s also a practical and handy utility room where muddy boots and outdoor kit can happily stay safe.

Climb the stairs to the first floor to find 3 more bedrooms (1 ensuite). 2 boast premium double beds and mattresses, thick duvets, pristine sheets and fresh towels. The third bedroom comes with super-comfy bunk beds, made up with soft duvets and linen. All rooms have also been individually decorated by Clair Brereton. Also on this floor is the main bathroom with walk-in shower – ideal for a quick refresh after a day exploring the wilds of North Wales.

Like The Canopy lodge, The Watch also comes with an ample outdoor deck with 8-seater hot tub and glass balustrade, where you can happily laze away the hours watching the birds or star gazing. Should you want to eat outdoors, no problem. There’s outdoor furniture and a BBQ – the only thing we can’t promise is the right weather.
